Middle School Geography Bee

Congratulations to the top three finishers in our first middle school Geography Bee competition:

1st Place – Jacob Whorley, 7th Grade

2nd Place – Mordecai Leung, 8th Grade

3rd Place – Alex Adamson, 8th Grade

As our school champion, Jacob participated in an online qualifying examination to be part of the state level competition in the National Geography Bee.

Crosspoint Academy students were well represented in this year’s District Spelling Bee sponsored by the Association of Christian Schools International.  Winners in this year’s competition were:

Charity Shen – 2nd Place, 7th Grade Bee

Alex Adamson – 2nd Place, 8th Grade Bee

Justin Chung – 3rd Place, 8th Grade Bee

In the Championship Bee, Alex Adamson placed 3rd overall and automatically qualified for the ACSI Regional Spelling Bee in Pasadena, CA, on February 25.  Justin Chung placed 5th overall and is the first alternate to participate in the Regional Spelling Bee.

Mrs. Leong is in charge of public relations, marketing, community development, and fund raising for CCHS. She also represents the school in civic organizations and at community events.
