Afterschool Program
Welcome to the After School Program at California Crosspoint Academy. The purpose of our program is to provide a supervised place after school for all K-8th grade students.
In the After School Program, students can quietly work on assignments, ask for help, or read. Although we are not a tutoring center, we will check their work, review their homework assignments, and offer help as needed. We will advise students to prioritize their work. We will encourage them to complete all their assignments.
We also offer enrichment and music to provide your child opportunities to explore new areas and build skills doing things they already love.

Course Title: Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools(MOEMS) (Grades 4-8)
Course Objectives: CCA is participating in Mathematical Olympiad for Elementary and Middle School (MOEMS) this year. MOEMS is designed to foster a love for math and improve problem-solving skills. It offers challenging problems beyond the typical classroom curriculum, encouraging analytical and creative thinking, teamwork, and resilience while building confidence. Through engaging and stimulating exercises, MOEMS promotes both mathematical growth and personal development. MOEMS contest is team based, with each team consisting of up to 35 students. The team score will be the sum of the top 10 individual scores for each team. The competition includes five monthly contests, beginning in November and running through March of the following year. Each contest will feature five questions, which must be completed within a 30-minute timeframe. [The minimum requirement for each divisional team is 10 students or our team would be forfeited]
There are two divisions: (Grades 4-6) Division E, and (Grades 6-8) Division M. The competition is structured so that all levels of ability can participate, making it inclusive for all students, regardless of advanced or beginning to explore math in a deeper way. This program also fosters students to challenge themselves, enjoy the process of learning, and interact with like-minded peers.
Math Olympiad (Interest Survey Form)
Course Title: Abacus and Mental Math Class (Grades K-3)
